You know that feeling when you think you’re going to get into something (lets just say a sports team), and youre psyched about it, then you get the news: you didnt make it, but “keep on trying!” and “we hope to see you again!”, when you know good and well, someone else got on, who is no better than you because they know someone who knows someone, etc. well, im feeling like that. so i get on the computer and email a couple of important people, and so one of them is like, “well, whenever you want, we can sit and talk about it”, and yet I have this funny feeling that this person said something that made me not get on b/c they dont like my mom. now, this woman, is wanting to talk with me, and talk about what “i” can do, while SHE is the one that doesn’t provide opportunities, and when she started offering them, I had already tried out, so i’m like “thanks. that really helps. now to those of you reading this, and if im talking about you, dont take it personally, but i just really need to get it off my chest.

now, this was the ONE thing I was really pumped about, it would be a great experience, and it got shot down. now i have to wait another year, and by that point, i may not want to do it, so they may have really gotten screwed. and you know what? if they come back to me, for some reason, saying they need me, i think i may just say screw you. am I the one who said “oh, sorry, youre not good enough” ? I dont think so. I came to you, and when you said no, you really got screwed, since apparently, personal relations are worth more than the good of the group. yet, they complain about people not being passionate about what they do, yet when they deny people who are, what do they expect? just because im not “involved” enough, doesnt mean i cant help the group now, does it? i dont think so. i thought that we are all equal in the eyes of the Lord? eh? eh? yet if we arent good enough, we cant help others. what type of message does that send? did Jesus say to any of his apostles, that, oh, yeah, youre great, but you dont have the right criteria, so try again in a year? NO! he said all come and follow me. i understand there is a limited acceptability, but that doesnt mean there should be no variety.

so you know what ?

you just lost a passionate member.

until next year, when you will end up making me want to do this all over again, and get my dreams crushed again.

so, im screwed.

Ok, we recently (the past year), started going to the Episcopal church down the street (St. George’s), in part of the fact one of our favorite priests was there. Now, since I am officially a member there now as opposed to the other church, he is leaving, which really upsets me, since I left to be able to see him, now he leaves. My mom being Parish Admin. there, I have to hear how so and so did this, or such and such is what they did, etc. etc. just random complaints. So, I am so tired of all this riff raff. Just pray and let Him decide whats right.

I know, I know, it’s been a while, but I figured since I have nothing better to do, I might as well blog. I am an Apple person, even though I only have an iPod nano, I still love the company. So, I was originally psyched when the iPhone was announced, but then my bubble got popped when they said the dreaded words..”this phone is exclusivly on the new AT&T”. That sucked. I am on Alltel, and am quite happy with them, but I am really wanting a cool phone like the iPhone. So, today I looked around, and it just so happens, that Alltel (Verizon too, as well as Sprint, I think), has a phone almost as cool (it seems) as the iPhone. It is the UT Starcom (AKA Audiovox) something (I forgot the exact model number). But lets compare it (feature wise) to the iPhone…

1. Internet: Both. the UT has IE Mobile, while iPhone has Safari ( ).

2. UI: They both use touch screen, but the UT does have an advantage; it uses a slide out mechanical keyboard, since I dont think I could text without a true keyboard.

3. Music: They both have Music capabilities.

So, yeah, the iPhone is “Apple”, and it is 4 GB/8 GB, but its not worth switching carriers, buying the 500 dollar phone, and a plan, just for a phone.

As of yesterday/today, the Episcopal Dio. of SC has 55 of the required 56 affirmative votes needed to proceed with the concescration of Mark Lawrence. We will have to wait and pray about what the Lord is going to do, but hopefully, it will be in the best interest of us, which I am sure it will be.

First of All,

TGIF!!!

Now, today was OK. The only thing that brought the day down was that I forgot closed toe shoes for physical science. But the rest of the day has gone GREAT! I had a GREAT lunch, a GREAT day after school, and just an awesome time. I have asked the girl of my dreams ♥ out, and this weekend is three days long. So, right now, my MySpace is open in another tab of Safari, and I am impatiently waiting for a reply to my request. I want her to say yes, and see how we go from there. I am just unsure of, that if this doesnt work, that we wont be able to be friends anymore. I really want to be more than friends. I know that she believes that God is going to put the right guy in her life, and I think that I may be him, and she may be my soulmate. I know its wrong to interpret things that God is trying to say for your own gain, but I truely do LOVE . her ♥.

I have recently (yesterday) celebrated my birthday, and with another year past, I was going to see if any of my “friends” from the church I have been part of since birth would tell me “happy birthday” or even just “hey!”. But, nope. I had 0 people say “Happy Birthday” without me reminding them. Which is just another reason that I want to leave that church – NO ONE knows anything about anyone else. Yet, at my new church,I had 3-7 people say Happy Birthday to me.

Plus, I have not been attending youth group the past few

weeks, and NO ONE has asked where I have been. So,

Hopefully, after a couple more weeks, someone might.

The Tale of Two Churches

I am currently attending two churches; one that I have grown up with, and another that I want to grow old with. The first one is one of the, if not the, oldest church in Summerville, while the other is quite younger, only about 30 years old. I started attending the second one due to my mom’s job. I was skeptical at first, but I have fallen in love with it. It is small, only about 200 families, but that is what I love about it- the community. Where as on the other hand, the first one is about 400+ families and is VERY impersonal (when we started going to the second one, NOONE noticed that we were gone; no one called, mailed, emailed, etc.). But, you know how you have that friend that you love, yet hate, at the same time? That is me. I love this church, and the fact I have known some of these people since I was little, yet I hate it, since they have built a 3 million dollar parish hall and a 2 million dollar CE building, rather than donating that money or building a new SANCTUARY. But I digress.
